1. Can you tell us about your journey into the modeling industry and what inspired you to pursue this career?
My journey into modeling began 18 years ago serendipitously. I had a nail appointment at a beauty salon in Iran when I was approached by a hair and makeup artist, who asked me to model for her for a bridal photoshoot. This unexpected encounter marked the start of my modeling career.

2. How do you balance your work as a model with your personal life and other commitments?
It is a challenging juggling act to balance projects as a model with my personal life and other commitments, but it works with careful planning and time management. To stay on task, I adhere to a schedule where I organize my modeling assignments and personal responsibilities. By prioritizing my To Do List, I can focus and complete the most essential ones first. It is difficult to say no, but it is important for me to set limits and decline additional work when I have a full agenda. I also have to set boundaries to separate work and my personal life to reduce the stress. By setting pertinent time aside for self-care and indulging in relaxing activities, I can maintain a healthy lifestyle balance.
3. Can you discuss the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a model, and what are some of your favorite ways to stay fit and healthy?
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is crucial as a model. How you feel internally is projected externally, and this encompasses both the physical and mental aspects. My favorite regimen to heal mind, body and soul are regular workouts with weights and cardio, balanced diet, hydration, restful sleep, mindfulness, and personalized routines, such as hikes in nature.
4. How do you approach your nutrition and diet to ensure that you maintain your physique and energy levels?
To maintain my physique and energy, I incorporate a balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Portion control is important, so eating in moderation helps maintain my weight and energy, while drinking plenty of water keeps me hydrated. I avoid energy dips by eating balanced meals and healthy snacks by limiting processed foods and sugar. I also believe that my body knows best, so I listen and eat when hungry, and stop when my body is satisfied.
5. What are some common misconceptions about the modeling industry, and how do you address them?
The first misconception in the modeling industry that I would like to address is the belief that you have to strive for unrealistic body standards. I don’t support this, so I don’t give in to this extreme standard. I promote body positivity by being comfortable in my own skin and embracing my body differences. The second mistake is that models lack intelligence. It is disheartening to me that models are perceived and valued only for their physical attributes. I try to dispel this notion by equipping myself with knowledge, speaking articulately, and possessing other life skills beyond modeling. Another error is the notion that when you become a model that will equal overnight success. It is important for seasoned models to become role models and share their stories and background to inform the younger generation of prospective models that success takes a lot of hard work, persistency, and dedication to build a successful career. The last misunderstanding I would like to discuss is the assumption that all models are financially secured. It is vital that the public doesn’t assume that what they see on social media is 100% accurate. Many of these images are paid advertisements or collaborations. As a model, I have a platform to educate others, promote authenticity, and deliver the truth.
6. How has your family influenced your career and your approach to health and wellness?
My family has supported me from Day 1 by encouraging me to pursue modeling and guided me to focus on health and personal growth, not just appearance. They showed me a lifestyle to incorporate healthy habits, such as eating right, and exercising consistently. For my mental well-being they provided great emotional support in navigating industry pressures and helped manage my financial planning to keep me fiscally sound.
7. What advice would you give to someone who is interested in pursuing a career in modeling?
My advice for someone pursuing a modeling career is to research reputable agencies that will have your best interest at hand, ability to develop your growth and provide you with solid advice. Create a versatile portfolio, so you are not pigeon-holed into one specific image. Maintain a healthy lifestyle to look and feel your best. Stay persistent and patient because a successful modeling career does not happen overnight. Embrace rejection as it is part of the process in a competitive industry. Build a strong network in the industry to learn from each other and support one another. Be professional because your reputation depends on it.

8. Can you tell us about any exciting projects or collaborations that you have coming up in the near future?
I have been working tirelessly to fulfill a dream of mine to have my own beauty line. I am equally enthusiastic about starting a parallel career in real estate. Both opportunities hold great promise, and I can´t wait to see how it unfolds!
9. How do you define success, and what have been some of your biggest accomplishments as a model?
For me, success in modeling is measured by accomplishing different high metrics I have set for myself. One of the top benchmarks is to be positively recognized for my hard work, because I take my profession very seriously. In return, I hope that my work ethics will land me prestigious contracts, working with renowned brands, invitations to runways, red carpet Appearances, or gracing the covers of influential magazines are ways that I measure my success. My biggest accomplishment as a model was at the recent 76 th Annual Cannes Red Carpet. I was very proud to walk the red carpet in a special custom designed dress, collaborating with the designer throughout the process, that brought worldwide attention to the Women, Life, Freedom protest for the people of Iran. It warmed my heart that I was able to make a positive impact, and inspire others, while fulfilling my obligations as a model for the designer.
10. Can you discuss any challenges or obstacles that you have faced in your career, and how you have overcome them?
Rejection is a common occurrence faced by models. I have attended numerous auditions or castings without being selected. I understand that I am in an ultra-competitive industry, and it is a numbers game, so I must stay persistent. The more I put myself out there, the higher my percentage of landing a project. As discussed previously, body image pressure is a daily obstacle. This goes hand in hand with rejection if you don’t fit the “mold.” I have been criticized for every single part of my body, from head to
toe. As I have grown older and more mature, I have embraced and loved all my features, which allows me to ignore the negative comments.
11. How do you stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the modeling industry?
There is an abundance of resources to help. I follow fashion publications, blogs and engage with industry professionals on social media. When possible, I attend fashion events and conferences, and subscribe to newsletters for updates. Collaborating with fashion brands and designers provides a different insight into the creative process. I also connect and involve my Managers and Agencies for their guidance.
12. Can you speak to the importance of diversity and inclusivity in the fashion industry, and how do you think the industry can improve in this area?
Diversity and inclusivity are crucial in the fashion industry to ensure fair representation for deeper appreciation of cultural and individual differences, which makes us all unique. To improve, decision makers can take action by hiring the right people that support the belief and implement proper protocols for diverse casting. Industry heads should not tolerate acts of bias and prejudice. They should be role models and embody the spirit of unity and hope. By being agents of positive change in our own
sphere of influence, we can engage in meaningful and open communication to break barriers and expand opportunities to be a socially responsible industry.
13. What are some of your favorite hobbies and interests outside of modeling?
Outside of modeling, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. When I have downtime, I enjoy the simple pleasures of life, such as going out to dinners, hiking in nature, or experiencing new adventures. I love going on trips with friends to relax, have fun and soak up the sun.
14. Can you discuss your approach to personal growth and self-improvement, and what habits or practices do you incorporate into your daily life?
Personal growth involves continuous learning and embracing the philosophy of being a life-long student. I can only grow and improve if I realize my shortcomings and be accountable for my actions. By seeking feedback from people that I respect and reflecting on my faults, I can challenge myself and set obtainable self-improvement goals. It can be difficult, but I try to incorporate a positive mindset into my daily life by journaling, surrounding myself with positivity and practicing mindfulness. Most importantly, being patient and kind to myself to strive for a peaceful and fulfilling life.
15. What are some of your future goals and aspirations, both personally and professionally, and how do you plan to achieve them?
There are so many goals that I would like to achieve. Constant growing, developing, and becoming more self-aware of thoughts and actions is a continuous objective. From a professional standpoint, I would like to expand my modeling career by working with top-tier brands, walking in major fashion shows, while continuing to develop my modeling skills and increase my self-confidence. I would like to branch out into different industries as well. Acting is an interest of mine as another creative outlet, whether it be in film or television. I am keen on launching my own fashion label or beauty brand, and even collaborate with established designers to experience entrepreneurship. But my goals are not geared just towards my profession. I would like to also use my platform to promote social causes, contribute to environmental sustainability, or advocate for noble philanthropic foundations. To achieve my targets, hard work and dedication are important. I plan to put in consistent effort, network with the right people, and combine passion, determination, and strategic planning to achieve my personal and professional goals.
